Cruelty-free, all-natural foundation that looks like skin: Nude by Nature
I've always been a big fan of powder foundations. While some people may think that they could look too chalky, if formulated correctly, a powder foundation gives you great coverage and also looks completely natural. So when my friend Kavita Khosa of Purearth told me about the Nude By Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation, I really wanted to give it a go. Especially because I trust her selections in beauty. After all, creating an iconic brand like Purearth is not easy.
Coming back to this foundation, she got me a sample from Hong Kong, and I swear I have never found anything so super-finely milled as this one. Really, it's like the softest, most silken talcum powder. It glides on your skin (I used my Chanel Kabuki Brush to apply it) beautifully, without settling into lines and creases, even after a few hours of wear. The product is buildable so you can apply layer after layer without it looking ghostly, chalky or artificial. I went for lunch yesterday with a friend who thought that I was wearing no makeup whatsoever. Now that's a real compliment for any base.
All Nude by Nature products are high-performing and completely cruelty-free, and packed with skin-nourishing minerals and botanical extracts. They also contain no synthetic ingredients or preservatives. This powder contains SPF 15 with kaolin clay and jojoba esters.
