7 best pink lipsticks this summer

There’s something about the heat that just makes you want to ditch your go-to red and choose a beautiful pink lipstick instead. I am unashamedly fond of pink, be it dresses, shoes or makeup. And over the last couple of months my obsession (and lipstick collection) has only grown. So, I just felt the need to handpick the most flattering shades (from fuchsia to blush) from my cabinet and share it with you.

  1. Soul Tree Lipstick in Sunshine.
I can’t believe Soul Tree has such a beautiful lipstick collection. This browny-rose instantly perks up your skin and looks good on every complexion.
  2. Estée Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick in Ripped Raisin
This deep rose hue comes in a creamy, pearlescent finish, which sits comfortably on the lips. It is a bit sheer but I love it because it’s extremely moisturising.
  3. Lipstick Queen Lipstick in Rose Sinner
This colour was designed to match the exact shade of Russian dolls’ lips. I mean how can it not look good on everyone? I’ve had it for several years and I always go for this deeply pigmented rose-berry shade when I want to look glamorous.
  4. Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Cosmic Raspberry
I picked this up for my best girlfriend and me, and both of us get compliments every time we wear this beautiful bougainvillea shade. Extra points for it being so richly pigmented.
  5. M.A.C Retro Matte Lipstick in Relentlessly Red
When you want to kinda…sorta wear red but with a touch of pink. And it brightens up your skin too.
  6. Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip in Lily
Sometimes candy pinks can look garish, but this is just the perfect bubblegum colour that looks grown up, flattering and sophisticated.
  7. YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 11
There are only a few things more luxurious than a YSL lipstick. This frosty pink looks wonderful with heavy Bardot-style liner. I also dab it on my cheeks as a blush/highlighter.
