Now in India: Décleor, Becca, Cover FX

Mom and I had such a blast yesterday. We spent the entire afternoon shopping for beauty products. I don't know about you, but both of us are very beauty obsessed. A great handbag or a pair of shoes is nothing for us in front of a beautiful face cream. But, I digress. The reason for this shopping was that some wonderful, wonderful beauty brands are now available in India. And we just had to get our hands on them. Susan Miller said that Venus (the planet in charge of beauty) is finally coming out of retrograde and it shows with the launch of these lovely, beautifying products! While I still have to try them out, allow me just quickly go over each and every one of these gorgeous brands. Reviews will be posted later.

- Décleor: One of my favourite skincare brands. Their Aroméssence in Rose D'Orient saved my red, reactive complexion a few years earlier. This time I picked the Neroli Night Balm because that also has some wonderful reviews. The best part about this brand is that it is effective and cruelty free. But why the limited range Décleor? I actually wanted to try the Rose D'Orient Balm but they didn't have it. Neither did they have their firming eye serum or face mask. I hope someone from Décleor is reading this post and will provide us these goodies.

- Becca: I was a bit angry with Sephora India when they discontinued some of my favourite brands such as Peter Thomas Roth and Nuxe. But they have made it up (kinda) by launching this wonderful brand, which is free of any nasties and also is not tested on animals. BUT there's the same problem again - why a limited range? GAH! While they do have the complexion products, the Beach Tints are not available. It's like the bar shutting down when you want that last drink.

- Cover FX: Vegan, cruelty-free, innovative complexion products including skin correctors and various foundations. I haven't used the range much, but it was all the rage internationally last year when it launched. This is also available at Sephora. Now I'm hoping that they (Sephora) will bring some amazing skincare (including Peter Thomas Roth) back to India again.
