Product of the Day: Obagi Professional C Serum 20%

Everyone who knows me is aware of my love for vitamin C serums. I’ve been using one for almost a decade and find that it really does help in keeping the skin bright and glowing. While I keep trying new versions everyday - after all, it is my job - there’s one I find myself coming back to regularly. The Obagi Professional C in 20% concentration is my go-to in vitamin C serums. While I love Drunk Elephant’s C-Firma Day serum, especially because its moisturising, I find that nothing gives you that instant radiance like Obagi does. The great news is that non-prescription Obagi products, like this one, have not been tested on animals. And the entire range is paraben free. This particular serum has a bit of hyaluronic acid in it as well so your skin also feels moisturised. Many people may dislike the sharp iron-like metallic smell of this product, but I love it. For me its a sign that this really is one hard working vitamin C product. 

It costs a bit over ₹8,000, but it lasts 4-6 months. I use 5-6 drops every morning on a clean face as a first step before moisturiser and sunscreen. It's available at most dermatologists' offices (I got mine at Kubba Clinic in Delhi).
