Diptyque Nourishing Cleansing Balm

If you love this French fragrance house for it’s luxurious candles (show me one person who doesn’t), then you will be please to know that they now have an entire range of skincare. L’Art du Soin consists of an oil, moisturiser, facial water, radiance booster and a balm. The entire range is paraben, silicon, surfactant and mineral oil free, which means that you can enjoy these supremely luxurious goodies without any guilt whatsoever. These cosmetics are made with a ‘slow infusion’ method to ensure that the extracts from flowers, leaves and seeds are packed with the original nourishing qualities.

I of course went for the Nourishing Cleansing Balm because it combines two of my favourites - a face mask and a balmy cleanser - hell yeah! It is made with the waxes of geranium, ylang-ylang and mimosa with sweet almond and vegetable oils. The sophisticated rose scent is heavenly and isn’t overly sweet or overpowering. The waxy balm in itself feels like pure luxury on your skin. I like to massage it in using a lymphatic drainage method and then just leave it in, while my skin soaks up all the nourishing oils. Then I just wash it off and usually don’t put anything on my face (except eye cream) at night.
