Product of the Day: Chanel Les Beiges Retractable Kabuki Brush

If you've been following my videos, you'd know that I'm obsessed with Kabuki brushes. To the uninitiated, these brushes were originally used by Kabuki artists in Japan to get an even, white base. Recently though they've become popular because of their ability to seamlessly apply powder makeup. Just one Kabuki brush can be used for powder, blush, bronzer and mineral makeup, replacing all the extra tools you may have in your cabinet. Use it by pressing slightly into the skin, employing round strokes, almost like you are buffing the product into the face.

This Chanel Kabuki Brush is my favourite because it is very good quality - not a hair has fallen out of it ever since I've had it (two years I think). I love the fact that its retractable so I carry it in my handbag along with my compact, without fear of the bristles getting dirty. I hate applying face powder with a sponge or puff, so this brush ideal to give me a natural, glowy, non-cakey finish.
