Pink Obsession

I don’t know what it is, but recently I find myself more drawn to a pretty pink than classic red. I think what makes it interesting is that the colour has moved on from predictable baby shades to seashell, bougainvillea or even this pretty salmon shade. I paired this Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick in Matte Peony with a serious outfit like a blazer and a pair of military drill pants. Try to imagine me wearing this lipstick with a pink chiffon dress…double yuck. I think pink lipstick looks best when worn with something serious or androgynous, just so it doesn’t look too sweet. After all, life is about balance.
