Define beauty
I can’t define it in a conventional streamlined way. I see beauty in the small exemplary imperfections in a, meant to be ‘defectless’ structure. That’s what catches my eye and mind.

What is your diet like?
Since I’ve been travelling a lot lately I haven’t been able to stick to a specific diet. I do love to indulge and experiment with new cuisines often but the rest of the time I prefer simple Indian home food. Be it dal and chapatis and some sautéed vegetables. I also enjoy light noodles soups and salads. Asian cuisine gives me a lot of healthy options.

How do you de-stress?
Coming back home to all my near and dear ones. If I’m living with them then to some good food with my an interesting movie or TV show in bed. That completely distracts me from the heavy load of the day I face.

What is your favourite skin treatment?
Honestly, I’ve never really had a routine face treatment other than a couple of clean ups. I stick to just trying to keep my face clean when I am not working. But I maybe apply some pure sandalwood or curd (separately) on the face once in a while.

What is your skincare like?
Although, I am not big on skin treatments I am very very specific about my face wash that I use, which is the Vichy normaderm deep cleansing purifying gel

Tell us about your hair.
I’ve always had course, dry and wavy hair since I was young so I’ve got to always try use products that are either damage therapy or intense hydration. At the moment I am using Aveda’s Damage Therapy Shampoo, Conditioner, and Serum. I recommend Smash Salon in Khar, Mumbai for haircuts.

What is the common beauty mistake that women make?
Not looking adequately into what shade of base or colours suits them. Also, the concept of less is more has yet been accepted and inculcated by women.

What’s your favourite makeup?
I love clean looks and swear by my Benefit mascara, The Body Shop Metallic Tinted Glow Enhancer and the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.

What is the biggest beauty myth?
Expensive cosmetics are always better than inexpensive ones.
